Friday Evening Dress Rehearsal

I am sitting at the piano watching the rest of the orchestra play Aaron Copland's Saturday Night Waltz from Rodeo. The piano has no part in the waltz, but the waltz quickly and suddenly segués into Hoedown ("Beef, it's what's for dinner.") which features a fun, energetic piano part which I will play on Sunday and Kelly will play on Saturday. We've got an interesting mix of contemporary and classic pieces in store that have been a tremendous challenge and pleasure to perform.
