This is the beautiful People's Choice winner at Gardening Scotland . Lost Gardeners of the Great War. It was a stunning entry with a poignant story of the gardener in his walled garden putting down his tools to go and fight in WW1. As time passed the grasses grow and there is hope as the wild flowers and poppies flower.
