On the Buses

We did a bit of shopping around the village this morning and when we came back, guests were arriving for a wedding in the church next door. The groom and ushers arrived in this beautiful vintage bus.

They were so lucky with the weather; after a week of almost constant rain, the sun came out and for a little while, was lovely and hot. The bride and her father were escorted into church by this chap which was lovely. The bride seemed so relaxed and in control-I just remember being a nervous wreck on my wedding day.

D is getting all the equipment out for tomorrow's sound test so Poppy and I helped him out by plugging the Ipad into the PA and doing a bit of Karaoke. Well, Poppy sang her way through the 'Frozen' soundtrack and stopped me from singing by constantly nudging me and covering up my microphone with her free hand. I think she's trying to tell me something...
