On the bus home, I realised there were more cyclists free-wheeling down the Mound than is usual for rush hour.

And the crowd included more children, fewer helmets and a lot less hi-viz than we cycling commuters tend to wear.

50 or so cyclists cheerfully claiming the right to safe road space.
