Dragonflies and Damselflies in a Pond Near You?

Late this afternoon, the sun came out and the temperature rose considerably.
I went over to the pond, intending to take some photos of the first water lily flower, and saw this (I think) Common Blue Damselfly and Dragonfly fluttering across the lily pads!
Yes, they are mating, and will then lay their eggs in the water. These flying adults will live between 2 weeks and 2 months.
I looked up this information on Google, and discovered that there is a British Dragonfly Society, patron Sir David Attenborough! And Chris Packham has been leading research in order to publish a new Atlas of Dragonflies!!
If all this wasn't enough, the British Dragonfly Society want to know if anyone sees Dragonflies and Damselflies, and to record this online!

You see where Blipfoto can lead you!!
Will we have the Springwatch team setting up on our lawn?
Will I sleep tonight?
