"My James"

This entry is dedicated to Ch, who sits her final History exam at the University of Oxford this coming week. Thrilled to find an image of James especially for her.

Our first visit to The Great Tapestry of Scotland. You can view it at the Anchor Mills in Paisley until next Sunday 8 June. Next stop the Scottish Parliament from 1 July - 13 September.

Really worth seeing, something for everyone. History, Art, Politics, Sport, Humour, Inventions, Travel, War, TV, Parliament, Landscape. Even a panel about Hill and Adamson. We spent two hours looking at the 160 panels, but really need a few more visits to take it all in.

I did have two other top favourites which nearly won my Blip :-
Paisley Peacock, worked by two of my friends,
and
Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Slightly surprised about this one, I thought it would have been worked at the Glasgow School of Art.
