THE SOUND OF SILENCE

"Silence" is the theme for today. Photographing silence might prove to be a bit daunting, when you stop to think about it, but I think this one works.

In our home, we have one TV, that we hardly ever watch. It is in the great room, so the sound from it permeates the other rooms in the house, no matter how considerate you might want to be. So early on in our relationship, we decided that a good pair of wireless headphones connected to the entertainment system would solve any problem we might have in that area. Although we don't use them very often, these headphones are a wonderful compromise. At least, one that works for us.
