That'd be BabyCyclops at 35 weeks gestation now if he was still inside his Mum. Still a bit early...

Saturday, and we all spent the afternoon together at the hospital hanging out.

Until today BabyCyclops has been sleeping on a heated mattress. Premature babies are not so good at regulating their temperatures and they want to make sure all of the baby's energy goes into growing and not keeping warm. Growth is however going well, and BabyCyclops now weights 4lb3oz which is heavier than his birth weight. So today the heated mattress was taken away as he is progressing well. BabyCyclops was all wrapped up in layers and knitwear to compensate, but he seemed to manage OK.

So that's him now in a normal crib without any sort of wiring or other intervention except his feeding tube. Feeding is the next task on the list!
