Emergence

This has been the weather all day. Distant objects loom out of the clouds, and mountains disappear as though they were never there.

I went to see X-Men: Days of Future Past today. It was pretty enjoyable. Kinda ridiculous, but that's what I was expecting - I'd heard the words 'ludicrous' and 'men in capes throwing heavy things' to describe it, so it sounded like perfect Sunday afternoon viewing. And it was. It took me away from gloomy Hobart for a couple of hours, confused me a little about what timeline events would now be different, but generally entertained me quite happily.
