the view in the rear-view mirror

I live in the Santa Cruz Mountains and work in the Silicon Valley - stopped on my way in to work this morning to capture the road behind me.

Made me wonder how often we stop to really look at where we have been and what we are leaving behind as our lives move forward...

Processed in LR and Nik Color Efex Pro - 'Kodachrome' film mode - gave it that nostalgic look to accentuate my mood :)
