Lord Denning

I was working in a solicitor's office today. His certificate of entry into the profession caught my eye, and especially as it was signed by the well known British lawyer Lord Denning. He was well known by the general public because he often made bold and controversial judgements.

So it was good to get this picture of his signature - he died on 1999, just a few weeks after his 100th birthday.
