Mostly Six Five Oh

Mason Street, San Francisco

Time to start heading to SFO and home to PDX. It was a busy and mostly good visit. The continuing changes in San Francisco are interesting to see, the city is a boomtown and it's booming again. Everyone I spoke to was concerned about the changes and how they would shape the city, the real estate bubble is making it a less and less affordable place to live - I saw a shingle outside a building in Lower Nob Hill (a fairly sketchy neighborhood) for studio apartments for rent for $1800 - $2000 a month. The homeless population continues to be overwhelming. Too many thoughts to really condense into a little blip. Anyway, it was good to be in town again to catch up with everyone.
