Mono Mackerel Sky!

The sky here has been quite amazing most of the day today. Every time I looked, it seemed more special than the last time, so I collected quite a few good photographs!
This one, a mackerel sky over the "rookery" a row of maple trees where the big black birds always seem to nest, just the other end of the field next to the house, has been selected to be my monochrome blip for today!
