Another wonderful walk this morning with Juno. It was darker and cold. We met no one else on the hill. In some of the dips on the hill it was so much colder and then walked onto 'warmer' areas, amazing.

Work was not bad today, almost finished a task that has been hanging over me. Should finish and test tomorrow, it will probably take longer to document and write up than it did to program.

Went out for lunchtime stroll, picked up some stumps and hid them for later pick up.

Left work early to enjoy some light on the way home.

When I got home I saw eco mum and neighbour digging a channel in the snow and ice to try and get rid of water. A water main up the hill had burst and when they fixed it they flooded the road and it was under 3 inches of water and it started to freeze. They had been at it for 2 hours when I arrived. The neighbour 's family and the eco family were out until 7.00 digging and clearing the water to the siever. Well done everyone.

I went out to collect stumps from the hiding places i had them stashed, all present and collected. No room in the car for the 2 hiding places closest to the house.

Thanks for everyone's comments on reaching 500 blips, very kind. Cheers for all the stump alerts, I have followed them up and got some of them.

I love this weather the air is so clear and crisp and the pace of life is so much slower.
