The Shelf

Now let me start by saying that I'm not much of a golfer. I only really play two or three times a year.

This weekend is my annual get together with two very good mates and former colleagues of mine, Graeme & Craig.

Tradition has is it that we spend two days at Graeme's house in Blackwaterfoot in Arran. We play golf, drink malt whisky and catch up.

Day 1 (the warm up day), we played The Shiskine Course where Graeme is a member.

This photo is of Craig at one of the most stunning golf holes in Scotland, The Shelf. It's a 140 yard, par 3, played from an elevated tee high up in the cliffs. Quite a challenge on a windy day. The green lies on a peninsular surrounded by the sea.

Graeme birdied it!
