Treecreeper

The first time that I spotted one of these birds I had been quite amazed at how fast the crept up a tree as it was so unusual to see bird do that, and it doesn't climb straight up but spirals up round the trunk of the tree. I have walked past these nest boxes before but hadn't seen anything going on so it was just fortunate today that I spotted this Treecreeper hurrying back with materials to make a nest , their feathers blend in so well to the bark of the tree that it is very hard to see them but they are just fascinating to watch.
