Great Egret preening

Mr. K and I had a fabulous weekend with friends, staying at their shore home. We went to the beach and did a little bird watching, and I was happy to catch this Great Egret getting ready for a big date. He is quite handsome close up.

I tried playing golf for the first time in my life. I really had fun, but the game is frustrating! One time I would hit the ball straight as an arrow and the next time it would go off into a tree. Thinking about taking some lessons. It is a nice way to be out & about.
