Cactus flowers

This cactus has been with us so long that we cannot remember anymore when we bought it. In the more than 15 years that we've had it though, it has now survived its second move. Just like at the previous two places, it lives on our kitchen window sill and apparently it likes getting the late afternoon sun as it has produced its first set of flowers. Usually it produces another set of flowers a little later in the year. I wonder if it will do so again this year. These four flowers were showing only a tiny bit of colour yesterday afternoon, this morning they were already half open and this afternoon they were fully open.
