Rosa glauca

Another totally easy care, unfussy rose. This one has wing like thorns, deep red and translucent when the sun is behind them. Very pretty in winter, the burgundy stems, like the leaves, are swathed in a bluish wax rendering them cool and misty looking even on the warmest days.
