My Mum and Dad

My cousin has been sending me some old photos . This one has been on her coffee table for the last 15 years. I edited it for this blip.
I found it strange to think that other people might have pictures of my parents displayed in their homes .
We share a unique and special place in the lives of our parents but always only a small part of the life they share with wider family and friends.
Nancy loved my parents very much as she lost her mother when she was very young. I love this photo and , yes , I am growing to be like my Mum.
It would have horrified me to be compared to her when I was young, but now that I am older I realise she was always very lovely !
