which way to swim?

I went to a nearby pond and at first saw some Canada Geese on land eating grass. I then walked to the water's edge and was pleasantly surprised to actually see fish in the pond. The water is a bit murky, but I think the two fish in this photo are visible : )

I don't think I've shared much of recent about my career transition/job search process. Last week I was asked back for a second time to interview for a position I'm very interested in and my references are now being checked. On the surface this seems like a good thing. However, this waiting period is a bit difficult. Ultimately the job will either pan out and work out or not. And if not, I'll go on to find something else.
