Last Thursday Harvard University conducted its commencement exercises, aka graduation ceremonies. So much pomp and circumstance, gaudeamus-ing and igitur-ing, so many colors representing the different faculties, so many proud graduates off to change the world. And then it's all over for another year and the university and Cambridge slumber for the summer.
