Edinburgh's Folly

Train cancelled so we drove all the way into Edinburgh – bad start to the day.  On the walk to work I almost stood on a dead rat!  I considered a blip – but decided against it!  Went for a short wander at  lunchtime and totally forget about a meeting – luckily I was only 5 minutes late.
The day did pick up and the sun came out,  and work ended with a small celebration for a bride to be.

The drive home took ages – the 1D effect perhaps.
