Poisonous White Ermine

... stood on our house number plate for four days. I took this picture when setting out to work today and when I came back home it was gone.

Emma's summer exercises started today - she's exercising in Tampereen Pyrintö's C-girl team. She has 4 exercises per week, 2 hours each. Me and Leevi had our 7th driving lesson. Leevi drove 29 kilometers, it's his longest ride so far.

The White Ermine (Spilosoma lubricipeda) is a moth of the family Arctiidae. It is found throughout the temperate belt of Eurasia from Europe through Kazakhstan and Southern Siberia to Amur Region, China, Korea and Japan. The wingspan is 34–48 mm. Wing pattern is very variable, from entirely white wings to strongly covered with black dots. Hindwings often with one or several black dots. The moth flies May to September depending on the location. They are not eaten by birds because they are poisonous.
