In the shadow...

... of Bettys Tea Room, Harrogate.

I intended to use a shot of the queue for the famous Bettys Tea Room.

I never cease to be amazed how many people queue, for quite some time, to order expensive cakes and beverages. Some dress up for the occasion, others are clearly dragged along reluctantly to pay the bill.

Having taken the photo, I saw the sun had emerged temporarily from its cloud cover and was creating interesting shadows of the canopy. Hence the change of blip.
