The latest arrivals

Newly hatched coot chicks on Whittington Castle moat, there were another couple under her wing. I love those great big black feet, so large in proportion to their bodies!

The builders turned up this morning to carry on working on my wall, it's looking a lot better now that they've finished knocking the top down, put coping stones on top and pointed them. There's still a lot to do that involves scaffolding but it's looking good so far!
