A Very Special Bookshop

One of my favourite bookshops is actually housed in the former Bradford Wool Exchange, a grade 1 listed building, originally built as the wool trading centre for Bradford in the 19th Century. Its Gothic Revival architecture is symbolic of the wealth and importance of the wool trade to Bradford, and today part of it houses a branch of one of the only remaining chain of bookshops in the country. There, almost as though in reverential cloisters, you can quietly peruse your chosen volume prior to purchase.
