It's only a weed .....

Maybe it is - but the symmetry of the head and the daintiness of each little floret is just as wonderful as the most exotic hot house bloom!
It was a toss-up tonight whether to use this one or the wild rose - both were at their best along the drove this morning - actually the far side of a muddy dyke lined with stinging nettles - thank goodness for the zoom!
