Mr M's birthday walk

As we both had the day off, Mr M decided we should go for a big walk. He chose a walk which went up two hills in the Peak District; Chrome Hill and Parkhouse Hill.

However, something urgent cropped up at his work which he had to sort out, which meant it was late morning by the time we left.

By the time we arrived at our destination we only had enough time to walk up one of the hills. My husband chose this one, Parkhouse Hill, as it looked the most interesting! Well, it was so steep and slippy, I had to admit defeat about half way up! Mr M persevered, but even he couldn't make it all the way!!

Slap up feed this evening with the boys at a local Italian restaurant.
