Cloudy With A Chance Of Rainbow

A very busy day exploring the center of the amazing city. We did a walking tour of the neighborhood to the north and east of the Zocalo, seeing a bunch of churches and a collection of Diego Rivera murals that is unparalleled. The Public Education Building has over 200 of his murals painted back in the 1920s on display for all who can brave the security contingent at the door. Our tour ended at the excavation of the Templo Mayor, where we spent over there hours exploring the ruins of the city's ancient temple and visiting the amazing museum which displays all the recovered artifacts. We might still be there if we hadn't needed sustenance. While I had a large number of possible blips from the walk, Mother Nature won in the end when this rainbow appeared outside our hotel room window.
