Merlin the Volunteer

Today Merlin and I have been out as part of the Volunteer group Pooo Pin (Poo out People in) that work closely with the National Trust to count and pick up dog poo at the Hive Burton Bradstock and Cogden. We handed out free poo bags to dog walkers and told them about our group.

Surprising just how many poo's we picked up so close to the many bins provided! It's important as livestock graze there and dog poo can spread a nasty neospora which make cattle and sheep unwell.

Hopefully we can educate people and keep our countryside lovely for us and the visitors.
