Tree house..

well a hut pretending to be a tree house at one end at least!! It used to look over a pond in the meadow below but the trees have grown up and blocked a lot of the view from it. Looking at it I am not sure I would walk on that platform any more as various bits of wood look like they have become detached and it is a long drop down a steep bank to the river below.

Lovely day.. thinking of the D-Day landings commemorations taking place today all along the North France coast. Having been there for the wedding two weeks ago it has been nice to see the events taking place. We went the Cathedral in Bayeaux which was very lovely.. today Prince Charles named a new bell to mark the 70th anniversary of the landings
