Birthday blip...

....my birthday that is, not the one that we are all eagerly awaiting!

The day began brightly but by early evening I had been struck down by an horrendous tummy bug so my birthday dinner remained uneaten and the champagne is still in the fridge.. Never mind, I'm sure I'll make up for it come the weekend!

Earlier in the day I had popped out into the garden to find a blip: here are some of our hardy geraniums, Johnson's Blue, which almost seem glow in the shade, complete with a rather small bee.
