Hot and very Dirty

Another hard day working on the house. Today stripping the roof slates.

I was up on the roof all day in full sun, sheltered from the cooling wind. So it was hot and very dirty.

I was striped to the waist, covered in sun block, dripping with sweat...the thick black dust that had accumulated under the slates for the past 100 years had plenty to stick to. By the end of the day I was not a pretty sight.
