Trash trash trash

An overflowing bin in Bell St., Glasgow. This block used to be cleaned daily. Now the city council says it's done weekly but in fact it's longer than that. Some of the mess is caused by council cleaners dumping full bin bags which are then ripped apart by gulls. This is one block from the Common Wealth games office, where the street has been re-surfaced twice recently to make way for officials' many taxis.
Glasgow's litter is a running disgrace. That so much of it is caused by the council responsible for cleaning it up says it all.
