Wellington.....

.....by night.

First of all thank you for your kind words yesterday for Daughter A's graduation, it was an awesome moment. Daughter A has been so focussed through her years of study, I tell you she couldn't stop smiling and rightly so.

Today dawned cloudy and dull, we all felt tired after the excitement of yesterday and were a little slow getting out the door. We had hired a car for the day and drove over the Rimutakas into the Wairarapa to Masterton to visit hubby's parents for the day. Both Daughter A and Daughter E were with us, so a special time for us all as it's not often we get up this way.

As darkness fell we made our way back to Wellington, had some tea and returned the car. No photo's had been taken and I was itching to get out onto the balcony of our apartment and get a night time shot, at least the wind had stopped by now. But once out there it was quite eerie in the dark with the small balcony overlooking the road below, the towers are office blocks.
