Building Elements Number 73....Interior Decoration

I need some curtains for the front room before I get the mahoosive front hedge cut down to a more manageable-by-me size. So, looking for inspiration, I dug out this bound volume of 'The Decorator' (1904) from the attic. The blip is an extract from 'A Short Article on Window Screening and Draperies' by E Fletcher-Clayton (whose hand-lettering I really hanker after emulating).....but being realistic, I'll probably just end up with something nondescript from IKEA (and my usual scrawl)......
