Yeak Laom Lake

This unique blue crater lake surrounded by dark green jungle and home to the indigenous Tampuen ethnic minority group is located in Ratanakiri Province, in N.E. Cambodia. It's warm turquoise waters are inviting not only to the weary traveller but also provide an idyllic playground for the local kids who can be seen jumping out of trees from knee-trembling heights into the deep waters below.
