The Twins

After the parents reception at Maddy's prom Roz and I headed west for Optimo at the Sub Club.

It was, as ever, a fantastic night and was the perfect tonic to the inescapable reality that we are parents of a child who is now finished up with School. The Twins, who had released probably my favourite single of the year on Optimo Music, was the live act for the night and the set was great.

It did mean a really late night, and feeling a bit rough today as a result, But Maddy was able to say the same with her prom. And today ended up being reasonably productive despite feeling rough. I managed to record a two hour mix for an online radio show which is coming up in teh next couple of months or so.

I think we might finish teh day off by meeting friends at the spa, so a decent Saturday all in all.
