Today we had cheese and biscuits, with gin and tonic, as an appetiser before dinner.

Yesterday Kim had recommended visiting the excellent The Cheese Box. Apparently it has been in Whitstable for years, but we have never been in. Mrs S sampled their wares and decided on Kentish Blue and Mayfield - which were out appetisers today and were very good indeed. If you happen to be in Whitstable, why not pop in? On a Friday and Saturday night they stay open late and you can sample cheese and wine (or beer).
