Duck

Yesterday was my daughters 17th birthday but as I was at work and then she was out with friends in the evening, I didn't actually see her on her birthday.

Tonight we all went out for dinner at Prezzos in Chelmsford and although I took a few picture of the birthday girl herself, there wasn't one she was happy enough with to let me blip.

As luck would have it, this beautiful Mallard was swimming past the restaurant as we came out, and he wasn't nearly as fussy about my camera skills!

I'm actually thinking about a "Water Creatures" project as I was also happy to see my pond had cleared enough to get some reasonable shots of my fish this afternoon.
