An Evening with Dougie MacLean

Just back from Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. An event to launch "Till Tomorrow", Dougie's latest CD, recorded with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.

A superb evening, with beautiful arrangements by John Logan. Dougie played on three Moon Guitars, and the fiddle. The highlight of course was Caledonia. I rather like this youtube link, featuring some of our finest folk musicians. At the end, Dougie presented Conductor, John Logan, and Leader of the Orchestra, Tamás Fejes, with Caledonia single malt whisky from Edradour distillery.

It's been quite a day, 100's of things going on, good to relax a bit and enjoy such wonderful music.
