Sitting Pretty
Concrete boots are only for summer.
I'm not entirely sure whether I've hijacked an art student's work or capitalised on the activities of miscreants. None the less I first saw this trolley on Saturday sitting lonely in the middle of the Water of Leith and wondered many things (other than terrible supermarket puns), notably how would the trolley fall.
On realising things had warmed up i rushed out on Sunday intrigued to see what had happened. Much to my disappointment the trolley remained and my hopes of it being semi submerged with it's bright orange handle hanging on to the ice like a lifejacket were not to be.
When I walk by tomorrow, if the trolley still remains I'll be sure to take my time and make a few glances over my shoulder as I hope to see it drop with a mighty splash.
