We love London!

What a brilliant day. We left Wiltshire in the pouring rain - Nemi sheltering under a neighbour's car watching us go; she knows how to tug the hearstrings. There was a train delay where we were told we would be stuck in Reading for at least two hours just before the train then immediately started off and went the rest of the way at top speed, arriving at Padders in glorious sunshine.

So began an afternoon of wandering around the West End, sampling various posh wines from London Wine Week, some lovely food at Mildred's, some more walking, cocktails and then Kevin Spacey at the Old Vic. Amazing!

Finally back to the hotel bar for a nightcap and then to our freely upgraded room, exhausted but happy.
