Wild fuchsia

I love the way fuchsia grows at this time of year - this bush is in a friend's garden, but it's wild along the roads and the sight of all these little red lanterns hanging in symmetry seems another example of the amazing abundance of nature. I know the cultivated kind are fatter and altogether more flashy (unless they're the pale ghostly ones) but I love these.

Actually this isn't a very clear photo - the little bells were swinging in the breeze, and my phone died as I was trying for another angle.
