Sad news about the blue-headed vireo nest I blipped on 28 May: Three days ago I barely photographed a very small chick being fed by its parents (not worthy of a blip), but today the nest appeared entirely empty. It is unlikely that by today the chick could have been big enough to survive away from the nest (it could almost certainly only hatched after my blip on 28 May, 11 days ago), and my reference indicates that fledging (leaving the nest) only normally occurs after 14 days.
