Fields

Turning over the soil. It looked backbreaking. The plot doesn't seem so demanding in comparison...

And so to the random timeliness...yesterday, as it was...hmm, was almost gored by a cow on the manikaran bridge...luckily I haven't trusted the docile monstrosities in years and saw him swing his head at me, jumped, swore, daw the surprised faces now less inclined to cross: the troll had horns and guarded the way...undeterred I wondered in search of fizzy pop...

Am pretty certain other things happened but part of the thing up here is that there's an easy tendency to just wander off, sit down and drift off into the landscape. I suppose that the last weeks this has been my drift; all energy expended in arriving here it's nice to sit; watch trees in wind, the river sound, the mountains guarding the end of the valley...Possible on foot to spiti, to the pin valley but not yet, a serious trek, no pitstops en route...amazing images form. It's still wild here, even upon the edge of the himalaya it's still hard, still ruled by the whims of weather; no wonder the gods are so mad, it's a mind blowing place...a clear reminder of the powers of nature..
