The Princess Royal Comes to Town

We don't get that many royal visitors so getting their patron The Princess Royal to come and unveil a statue to Sir Archibald McIndoe must have been the result of a lot of hard work.

The work he started during the second world war continues to this day. The surgical team at the Queen Victoria Hospital are now busy treating our servicemen and women injured in Afghanistan.
