Nesting gulls at Ladram Bay

This afternoon, we walked nearly 10 miles. We walked from Sidmouth to Ladram Bay where there are sea stacks made up of otter red sandstones from the Triassic period and are 245-235 million years old.

On the journey there we saw several young men all kitted up in their army gear with the heaviest of rucksacks who were obviously out on army manoeuvres.

The gulls have made themselves at home building their nests and rearing their young.
