Cormorants have Hilary's View too!

The cormorant colony at our end of Lake Geneva is very busy at the moment. You can see several nests here if you look large.

David and I went for an early morning kayak in light that seemed to bring the Dents du Midi closer to the lake and therefore, to the cormorant colony. We had left breakfast for TonyG (CrocusMan) with instructions to visit a part of our local meadows that are left uncut to maintain a butterfly reserve near home! He was well pleased with his last haul of orchids and butterflies by the time we returned. So once again I am the lone blipper in this part of Switzerland!
